Key Responsibilities:

Engage with various stakeholders across business, operations, and technology to articulate the solution intent and architectural vision for intricate solutions. Prioritize both functional and non-functional requirements to build a technology backlog that supports our evolving capabilities and services.

Contribute to the architecture roadmap across defined domains (Business, Application, Data, and Technology) to support product development and establish best practices, including standardized templates.

Clarify architectural designs, assist in system design for implementation, and provide options to overcome architectural challenges.

Facilitate discussions focused on solutions, lead the design of complex architectures, and innovate through domain knowledge, practical experiments, and proof of concepts, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in architecture.

Educate team members on technology practices, standardization strategies, and best practices to foster innovative solutions.

Support the selection of technology stacks for solutions and assist in choosing preferred technology products.

Conduct design and code reviews to ensure compliance with non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability.

Act as a trusted advisor, providing security consulting services across multiple project teams to address data security concerns and assist with alternative controls when security requirements are unmet.

Collaborate extensively with Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure teams to enhance speed and data accuracy, promoting collaboration and standardization across internal technology groups.

Maintain a repository of reference architectures, implement data best practices, and leverage lessons learned to drive efficient business development initiatives.

Monitor emerging business and cybersecurity trends, proactively identifying use cases and driving innovation opportunities.

Work alongside Project Managers, Engineers, technical application leads, and Functional/Business Analysts to develop high-level project schedules, resource plans, and project costs.

Utilize technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernization data roadmap and collaborate with other Architects to develop comprehensive end-to-end Enterprise data solutions.

Assess security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements, and develop policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate data risks and ensure compliance.


Required Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in security and compliance, particularly in data security/compliance requirements.
  • 5+ years of experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.
  • Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.
  • 3+ years of experience in the banking or financial industry in an engineering or architecture role.

Desired Qualifications:
  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is highly desirable.
