Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Essex Meadows Inc. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fine dining restaurants, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of quality in our food and beverage offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Supervise the physical appearance and ambiance of our restaurants, bars, and server stations, including table settings and arrangements, floors, drapes, lighting, and music.
  • Customer Service: Coordinate the reservations and seating of residents and their guests in an efficient, courteous, and hospitable manner.
  • Staff Management: Schedule stations and work assignments for FOH staff and ensure that all standards are met.
  • Food and Beverage Management: Record meal counts and additional charges using POS system, assist in supervising resident market, including pick up orders and meal deliveries.
  • Event Planning: Assist with set-up and catering for resident, marketing, employee, and other scheduled special events.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience in fine dining restaurant, hotel, country club or other similar setting required.
  • Skills: Ability to explain menus, answer questions, respond to requests, and coordinate meal service process, working knowledge of Point-of-Serve (POS) systems.
  • Certifications: ABC license and 6 months' bartending experience a plus, ServSafeTM certification preferred.
