About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team of devoted healthcare professionals. As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in assessing patients for risk of danger to self or others and intervening appropriately during behavioral crisis situations. You will participate with the treatment team in implementing individualized plans of care and provide patient educational information for identified learning needs.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients for risk of danger to self or others at time of admission and ongoing through hospitalization
- Intervene appropriately with patients experiencing a behavioral crisis situation
- Participate with the treatment team in implementation of the individualized plan of care
- Provide patient educational information for identified learning needs
- Facilitate educational/activity groups, recommend alternatives based on patient functioning level and treatment plan

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Two years as Registered Nurse with one-year acute psychiatric experience preferred

Benefits
