Private Duty Nurse LVN Position

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LVN to provide high-quality care to our medically fragile patients in their homes.
About the JobWe are looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse to join our team and provide one-on-one care to our patients. As a Private Duty Nurse LVN, you will be responsible for implementing the physician's prescribed plan of care, conducting patient assessments, and administering prescribed medication and treatments.
Responsibilities- Implement the physician's prescribed plan of care
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Document care provided in our system of record
- Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease prevention
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
- Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems and concerns
- Active, unencumbered LVN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
