Job Summary

As an Optical Manager at Sam's Club, you will be responsible for driving sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, and proper inventory levels. You will also oversee the implementation of community outreach programs and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, and proper inventory levels
  • Oversee the implementation of community outreach programs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates
  • Ensure the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating customers, selecting products based on customer needs, and maintaining confidential information
  • Uphold the company's Open Door Policy by meeting with associates and listening to concerns, researching issues, and suggesting resolutions
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of 2 or more years of college
  • 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience
  • 2 years' general work experience including 1 year's optical experience
Preferred Qualifications

Supervising associates
