Rental Sales Management Trainee

Job Summary
This role is designed for individuals who are motivated, coachable, and looking to start their sales, operations, or management career. As a Rental Sales and Operations Trainee at Ryder, you will acquire proven industry knowledge, skills, and resources to develop your relationship-building skills. You will be part of a dynamic team, equipped to succeed and empowered to develop your career, with real growth in a focused and timely fashion.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle sales and process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation
- Maintain current and accurate data within the company's marketing database
- Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads
- Manage all rental asset processes, including vehicle PM and cleanliness standards
- Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing sales and marketing initiatives
- Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies
- Reconcile all customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform the role of On-Call Representative based on work schedules as determined by Supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar related degree
- One year or more customer service experience with issues resolution
- Computer literacy, intermediate required
