Overview:
The Senior Business Analyst is instrumental in facilitating agile software development, particularly with a focus on Salesforce Commerce Cloud. This position requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Product Managers, Architects, and Agile Teams to analyze data, gather user insights, and drive product enhancements. The Business Analyst is responsible for collecting and documenting requirements to ensure that the software aligns with customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehend business operations and contribute to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud product lifecycle.
- Propose process enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist Product Owners in backlog management by prioritizing and refining tasks based on data, trends, and feedback.
- Collect and document requirements for Salesforce Commerce Cloud initiatives, crafting user stories and other necessary documentation for Agile teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring software quality meets customer standards.
- Engage in agile events to ensure project alignment with strategic objectives.
- Analyze product data to generate insights that inform the product roadmap and enhance customer engagement.
- Conduct user research to identify needs and uncover gaps or performance issues.
- Help maintain program and team boards to promote transparency and communication.
- Monitor the impact of new features and report on customer engagement and return on investment.
- Maintain detailed records of analyses, feedback, and customer expectations.
- Contribute to best practices within the Product Management team.
- Support stakeholders during project initiation and assist with change management and user training for new Salesforce Commerce Cloud features.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product analytics or business analysis.
- At least 3 years of experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud tools and analytics.
- Experience with tools such as SQL, Google Analytics, and Tableau.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and roles within product teams.
- Agile certification in the Product Owner domain (e.g., CSPO, PSM, SAFe POPM) is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with experience in Agile environments.
