PennState Health is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians, including vascular technologists.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in ultrasound imaging.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon completion of orientation.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or registration within one year of employment.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) registry required within six months of employment for sonographers with two or more years' experience, and within one year for sonographers with less than two years' experience.
