Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at a Level 4 trauma center. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in ultrasound technology and be proficient in performing a variety of ultrasound exams, including vascular, obstetrics, and general ultrasound. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound exams using various modalities, including vascular, obstetrics, and general ultrasound
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Operate ultrasound equipment, including adjusting settings and taking images
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient exams and results
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in ultrasound technology
  • Proficiency in performing a variety of ultrasound exams, including vascular, obstetrics, and general ultrasound
  • ARDMS certification and BLS certification required
  • RVT certification preferred
  • Epic experience preferred
Work Environment:

This position is located at a Level 4 trauma center with 19 staffed beds. The facility is a critical access hospital with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
