Position Overview
This role is pivotal in ensuring that all products manufactured, packaged, and dispatched to our clients meet the established Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards.

The key responsibilities include conducting in-process mechanical inspections and receiving inspections of incoming hardware essential for contract/project assembly and final product delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume direct responsibility for ensuring that products manufactured, packaged, and shipped conform to all established Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards.
  • Analyze and interpret technical drawings, sample data, and other documentation to determine or modify specifications or inspection and testing procedures.
  • Maintain and clean testing equipment and instruments, certifying that precision instruments meet industry standards.
  • Conduct inspections for incoming and in-process materials using appropriate inspection tools.
  • Collect samples for testing and analyze findings to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Reject or discard products, materials, and equipment that do not meet established criteria.
  • Inspect materials, products, and work in progress for adherence to specifications, adjusting processes or assembly equipment as necessary.
  • Document acceptance or rejection of items, recording test results and inspection data, and comparing findings with specifications.
  • Review maintenance records to confirm that plant equipment operates effectively.
  • Test and measure finished products, components, or assemblies for functionality, operation, accuracy, or assembly to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Monitor and manage measurement and testing equipment for recalls and calibration.
  • Support the quality management system by conducting internal and process audits.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

Experience and Skills:
In compliance with federal regulations, all candidates must verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Familiarity with CMM operation and programming, PCDMIS or similar software, and ISO-9001:2015 and/or AS9001 standards is essential. Experience with QMS software and ERP systems such as Costpoint, Gage Trak, and TIPQA is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is a plus. Knowledge of GD&T and machine shop experience are beneficial. IPC-610 experience or certification is also a plus. A solid understanding of the practical application of engineering science and technology is required, including the application of principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment.
