Job Title: Project Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Stimmel. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing site construction drawings, including site layout, erosion control, grading, storm drainage, stormwater management SCMs, and utility plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce site construction drawings, including site layout, erosion control, grading, storm drainage, stormwater management SCMs, and utility plans.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design for storm drainage, stormwater management, and water distribution systems.
- Research and apply Municipal, County & State zoning ordinances and design standards.
- Experience in permitting at the Municipal, County & State levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Ensure compliance with company design and drawing standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydrology Studio, Newforma, EPANet 2.2, and Microsoft Excel.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of direct experience in site engineering design for Residential, Commercial, Higher Education, Healthcare, and Industrial projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related degree.
- Project Engineer position requires a PE License.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to company design and drawing standards.
