Key Responsibilities- Conduct field investigations to identify traffic-related issues and develop recommendations for improvement
- Collect and analyze data on traffic volume, speed, and accident rates
- Develop and implement traffic management plans to reduce congestion and improve safety
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Perform other duties as required to support the City's transportation goals
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as transportation engineering or urban planning
- 2+ years of experience in traffic operations or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
This is a part-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
