Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and promoting a restorative healing experience. As a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be accountable for delivering high-quality patient outcomes and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve excellent results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough and ongoing holistic nursing assessments to identify current and potential problems
• Develop individualized plans of care that address patient needs and concerns
• Implement interventions and desired outcomes to achieve positive patient outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, support systems, and healthcare team members to meet patient needs and achieve discharge goals
• Provide individualized teaching to patients and support systems throughout the continuum of care
• Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Perform treatments and procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Accurately document patient information to ensure effective communication and excellent patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, currently licensed in the State of New York, or permittee
• Basic knowledge of nursing theory and practice
• Knowledge of appropriate technology and practice standards for area of responsibility
• Demonstrates sound clinical skills, knowledge of Hospital structure, objectives, and standards of practice, positive communication skills
