Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Transplant/ Cellular Therapy

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Gainesville, FL. As a Transplant and Cellular Therapy RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to patients undergoing stem cell transplants and hematologic disorder treatments.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on nursing process/outcomes for the Stem Cell Transplant and hematologic disorder patients
  • Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
  • Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
  • Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
  • Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
  • Act as an advocate for patient safety
  • Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment
  • Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay

Requirements:

  • 1 year of recent (within the last year) acute care experience
  • Acute care Oncology experience, Dialysis, or infusion
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support is required
  • Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida or current active Multistate license
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
