- Conduct regular patrols of hospital property to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed.
- Investigate incidents and make recommendations to improve security protocols.
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and activities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months of experience in security or a related field.
- Current CA driver's license and must be insurable under hospital liability insurance.
- CA guard card, OC/pepper spray, and baton permits.
- American Heart Association BLS provider certification.
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and hospital-related programs.
- Basic report writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Initial and annual trauma Stop the Bleed training.
- In-house 8-hour AVADE training.
