Position: Aluminum Extrusions Operator at Flexicrew Technical Services

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is currently in search of an Aluminum Extrusions Operator to enhance their workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload metal at the finishing saw
  • Support and adhere to the directives of Operator 'B'
  • Execute any tasks assigned by the Supervisor
  • Maintain adherence to safety protocols
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Less than a high school diploma; or up to one month of relevant experience or training
  • Capable of reading and understanding basic instructions, brief correspondence, and memos
  • Proficient in basic arithmetic operations
  • Able to apply common sense to follow detailed but straightforward written or verbal instructions
  • Must successfully complete oral, written, and physical forklift operator training to acquire a license
  • Must accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math (a test will be administered)
  • Must pass a fundamental math assessment
Physical Demands:
  • Regularly required to stand and use hands for handling or feeling
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and communicate
  • Occasionally required to walk, sit, and climb or maintain balance
  • Regularly lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision capabilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
