Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the activities of the installation technicians, ensuring efficient workload distribution.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members, enhancing their skills and performance.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments, quality control checks, and maintain accurate records of service activities.
- Manage the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of various telecommunications services, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Monitor technician performance and conduct evaluations to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Implement safety protocols and conduct training sessions to promote a safe working environment.
- Engage with customers to promote services, educate them on product usage, and gather feedback for service enhancement.
- Maintain and secure company vehicles and equipment, ensuring readiness for field operations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on cable TV, high-speed internet, or voice services.
- At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
- Strong leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in troubleshooting complex systems and performing repairs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and motivate others.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the telecommunications sector.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred certifications include NCTI or SCTE.
