This role provides administrative support to the Office of the Dean within the College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts (CARTA) in relation to human resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire recruitment process for CARTA Student Employment, including creating job openings, job postings, and managing candidates through Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM).
  • Review resumes, schedule interviews, manage applicant statuses, initiate job offers, and complete onboarding.
  • Initiate HR forms and serve as the first point of contact for the CARTA HR Dean's Office.
  • Follow up with central HR regarding pending actions and departments or applicants regarding pending documentation.
  • Make deliveries of essential documents/items to other units.
Requirements
  • At least 2 semesters of FIU work experience or related experience outside the University.
  • Complete appropriate HR trainings.
  • Student must be enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate, during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
Work Schedule

Hours will vary based on class schedule and needs of the department.

$13.00/Hour
