Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

Location: Ulster County, New York

Description: Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to students in a school-based setting. As an SLP, you will work collaboratively with school teams to develop and implement individualized education plans, supporting students' academic success and social development.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address students' communication needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students' communication needs within the classroom environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage with students, parents, and school staff.
