Job Title: Baker/Mixer

At Whole Foods Market, we are seeking a skilled Baker/Mixer to join our Bakery Team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread and pastry products to meet the high standards of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mix and prepare doughs for various bread and pastry products
  • Operate and maintain bakery equipment, including mixers and ovens
  • Ensure accurate measurements and weighing of ingredients
  • Follow recipes and production schedules to meet quality and quantity standards
  • Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Experience in bread production and mixing
  • Strong understanding of baking ingredients, equipment, and weights
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use software
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation
Availability and Schedule:
  • Average shifts are 8 hours long
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
