Overview
Penn State Health is a leading research, teaching, and clinical healthcare system in the country. As a Community Hospital Registration Associate, you will be responsible for advancing the revenue cycle process for services rendered within a community hospital setting, both inpatient and outpatient. The incumbent secures all information required to accurately complete the patient pre-registration and/or registration.

This position requires excellent customer service skills and attention to detail. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely registration of patients. Responsibilities
The Community Hospital Registration Associate is responsible for registering patients in different departments across the hospital, including the Emergency Department, Surgery, Endoscopy, Radiology, and Laboratory. The role involves verifying insurance and benefit eligibility, reviewing regulatory requirements, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and six months minimum in a customer service setting. Medical terminology and Revenue Cycle experience are preferred. A competitive salary of $43,500 per year reflects the market rate for this position based on national averages and local industry standards.
