We are in search of a Biomedical Equipment Technician to become a vital part of our Engineering team. This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, accompanied by a robust benefits package.

Role Location:

Mid-Columbia Medical Center is located in a picturesque area, offering a mix of natural beauty and recreational opportunities, including outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and biking, as well as a vibrant community atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and document the installation, inspection, calibration, repair, and routine maintenance of medical devices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Associate's degree or equivalent in biomedical or electronics technology, preferably from a technical institution or through relevant training and experience.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record as per insurance requirements.
    • Preferred certifications include Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES), Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET), or Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES).
    • Certification may substitute for one year of the required experience.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of two years of experience in medical equipment service is essential.
    • A background in healthcare is advantageous.
  • Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
    • Proficient English communication skills (both verbal and written).
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Familiarity with medical equipment is necessary.
