Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervisory Duties:
    • Delegate authority to Physical Therapist Assistants and technicians
    • Provide supervisory visits according to state regulations
  • Financial Management:
    • Remain within monthly budget when ordering equipment and supplies
    • Charge patients appropriately and in a timely manner for treatment equipment
  • Clinical Expertise:
    • Maintain productivity level at department target
    • Evaluate and establish treatment plans for patients referred to Physical Therapy
    • Remain competent in evaluation, therapeutic exercise/activity, gait training, cognitive skills, wheelchair transfers, and modalities as appropriate for Physical Therapy
    • Attend and provide continuing education in-services
    • Serve as mentor for new employees and clinical instructor after one year of experience as a clinician
    • Complete documentation according to all regulations and in a timely manner
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Adhere to North Mississippi Health Services/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
    • Comply with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guidelines/regulations/laws/statutes
