Position Overview:

The Facilities I, DC is responsible for performing cleaning and sanitation tasks that ensure a safe and hygienic environment for both staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily cleaning and sanitizing of the facility, including trash disposal, sweeping, mopping floors in restrooms and break areas, and vacuuming office and showroom carpets.
  • Restock restroom and break room supplies as necessary.
  • Maintain a daily log of assigned and completed tasks as required.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all company policies and standards.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least six months of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate with staff.
  • Proven capability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with floor care products, sanitizers, and maintenance equipment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Compliance with all internal Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
  • Understanding of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and their locations within the facility.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and address urgent issues promptly.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Comprehension of verbal and written instructions.
  • Consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends if necessary.
Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. Frequent lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds is required, with occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds. Employees will utilize both hands and a full range of motion of the neck, head, and back. Climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, bending, and carrying are also frequent tasks. Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees may need to wear headsets covering one or both ears. Basic literacy is necessary for operating equipment and completing daily paperwork. The work environment is moderately noisy, with occasional exposure to dust and varying weather conditions.
