Job Overview

The Foam Extrusion Specialist plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, serving not only as an operator but also as a leader within the team. This position is essential for ensuring adherence to manufacturing standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage machinery that produces foam products to precise specifications.
  • Conduct thorough quality inspections of extruded items to identify any defects.
  • Engage actively in the company's Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Utilize measuring tools effectively, including tape measures.
  • Foster positive and collaborative relationships with team members.
  • Participate in special projects and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, including leadership capabilities.

Reporting Structure:

This role reports directly to the Production Supervisor.
