Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer orders and production capabilities to optimize scheduling and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with production management to align schedules with company objectives and customer expectations.
  • Engage with customer service and sales teams to address client needs and enhance satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, conducting regular counts to maintain accuracy.
  • Generate purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers for timely material delivery.
  • Supervise and direct forklift operators, ensuring efficient loading and shipping processes.
  • Prepare work orders for equipment repairs and maintenance.
  • Foster collaboration with the Specialty Sales Department to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with relevant experience in manufacturing scheduling as a substitute.
  • Proven experience in inventory management and shipping operations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements: The role involves regular physical activity, including lifting and moving materials, and may require working in a noisy environment.
