Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Facilities Management - Electrical Assets is a critical role that oversees the development and implementation of strategies for electrical infrastructure end-of-life replacement at Sam's Club properties. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical assets, industry regulations, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement electrical asset replacement strategies to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Lead Sam's Energy Resilience efforts, identifying and assessing risks associated with power outages and developing strategies to reduce reliance on the grid.
  • Work across teams and stakeholders to develop design applications and execution strategies for electrical asset management, minimizing disruption to Club operations and achieving lowest total cost of ownership.
  • Conduct technical and economic analysis and evaluation of electrical initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Financial partners to prepare and present annual and long-range capital planning for asset EOL & Electrical replacement programs.
  • Establish partnerships and serve as a liaison to other business groups with stakeholder interest, gaining buy-in and shared ownership of new initiatives prior to program deployment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of electrical EOL strategies, including reports, assessments, and corrective actions taken.
  • Stay updated with changes in regulations and industry best practices, adjusting programs accordingly.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 4 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or related area OR 6 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or related area.
  • 4+ years' experience with multi-site project management and large-scale electrical projects.
  • 3+ years' experience creating budgets and managing profit and loss statements.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Certified Facilities Manager or related facilities manager certification. Electrical Engineering degree highly desired.
