About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Risk Operations to lead our fraud investigation, prevention, and enforcement efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safeguarding our platform from financial loss and maintaining buyer and seller trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of dispute agents and fraud investigators to ensure the effective prevention and detection of fraudulent activities.
  • Performance Management: Set and ensure performance goals for the team, including quality, procedures, and service level agreements.
  • Process Improvement: Monitor, assess, and report on the effectiveness of controls, identifying gaps in processes and strategies, and working cross-functionally to solve them.
  • Trend Analysis: Identify trends and threat vectors to support fraud product, engineering, and data science automated detection and enforcement efforts.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in e-commerce risk management, fraud prevention, and operations, including time at a high-growth startup.
  • Experience leading and mentoring Fraud, risk management, and/or operations teams.
  • Deep understanding of payment and fraud risks for both financial transactions, product abuse, and how it may be applied in a two-sided marketplace.
  • Excellence in data and analytics.
  • Demonstrated strong cross-functional collaboration abilities in high-pressure and fast-paced environments.
