POSITION SUMMARY


The Client Service Specialist serves as the primary representative of Wilson County Motors within the Service Department, acting as the main point of contact for customers seeking service.

The foremost responsibility of the Client Service Specialist is to engage with customers in the service lane, ensuring their satisfaction and facilitating the timely and accurate repair of their vehicles.


Throughout all customer interactions, the employee should embody the HERO ( H elpful, E xceeds expectations, R epresents us well, takes O wnership) program. Customer satisfaction is the top priority for every team member at Wilson County Motors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Deliver an exceptional experience to customers during each visit.


Welcome customers, attentively listen to their service requests, and document the necessary information to assist Technicians in executing precise repairs.

Review the service order with customers, clearly explaining the tasks to be performed in straightforward terms.

Ensure that every vehicle's service meets customer expectations and aligns with the service order.

Communicate effectively with customers in-person, via phone, email, and text messaging.

Process Warranty claims as directed by the Service Manager.


Oversee, review, and manage the use of loaner vehicles and GM programs to meet departmental metrics.

Foster new relationships and engage with existing customers to drive sales growth.

Complete repair orders (RO) and finalize transactions with guests.

Fulfill all assigned training requirements.

Maintain a professional appearance and a tidy, organized workspace.

Assist with the opening and closing of the store and property gates.

Interact courteously with team members from other departments.

Perform additional related duties as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES

High school diploma, GED certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficient in using a computer for work-related tasks (computer literacy).

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

At least six months of experience in a customer-facing sales or service role.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

PREFERRED SKILLS and ABILITIES

Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous.

Prior experience as a Service Advisor in a dealership setting is preferred.

Effective communication skills via phone, text, and email.

Familiarity with DealerTrack software is preferred but not mandatory.

JOB EXPECTATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:
Arrive at work punctually as scheduled.

Hourly employees must clock in and out using the Company's time recording system.

Perform work safely in accordance with company safety guidelines.

Maintain a valid driver's license.

Respond promptly to customer inquiries.

Resolve customer issues by providing positive solutions.

Ensure a safe working environment and report safety concerns to the Service Director immediately.

Maintain accuracy in all work performed.

WORKING CONDITIONS:


The employee will spend up to 80% of the shift standing and walking, with significant time spent communicating with customers via telephone, text messaging, and email.

The role may involve lifting, pushing, or pulling weights up to 25 lbs. Duties will primarily be performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment, though some tasks may occur outdoors in varying weather conditions.
