Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking multiple Customer Service Representatives to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

In this vital role within the Richelieu organization, the Customer Service Representative will:

  • Provide exceptional customer service support by accurately obtaining, analyzing, and verifying order information in a timely manner.
  • Maintain high standards of service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Handle incoming calls from customers placing orders and provide sales quotes.
  • Collaborate closely with outside sales representatives on customer orders and quotes.
  • Assist customers in the showroom with inquiries and order placements.
  • Proactively solicit new or complementary sales through phone and face-to-face interactions in the showroom.
  • Research product solutions to address customer project challenges.
  • Restock the showroom and conduct cycle counts as necessary.
  • Support various warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and shipping/receiving tasks.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the building materials industry is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
  • A strong sense of drive and creativity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience with AS400 is a plus.
  • A high school diploma; some college education is preferred but not mandatory.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
