Intensive Care Unit Nursing Specialist

About the Job:
In this position, you will be working as a registered nurse in a Step Down Unit. Your primary responsibility will be to provide specialized care for patients transitioning from critical care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit.
- Administer medications and perform procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes in the step-down unit.
Required Qualifications:
- A current RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Two years of recent experience in a Step Down Unit setting.
- Strong communication and adaptability skills.
