Division Overview: The Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology at Virginia Commonwealth University is dedicated to delivering exceptional clinical care, advancing research, and providing outstanding education in the fields of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Rheumatologist to join our team as a clinician faculty member. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing superior clinical care to patients, teaching and training Rheumatology fellows, and contributing to the Division's research and scholarship activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality patient care in outpatient ambulatory clinics and on consult services.
Teach and mentor Rheumatology fellows, using contemporary adult learning methods to promote evidence-based practice.
Participate in educational programs, including foundations of clinical medicine, morning report, core conference, and other formal educational programs for undergraduate and post-graduate learners.
Demonstrate effective teaching skills and continually develop as a teacher for learners at all levels.
Complete required evaluations of learners in a timely manner, including written and verbal feedback.

Requirements:

Board certification in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine is required.
The successful candidate should have demonstrated both scholarly and clinical abilities through patient care, teaching, and clinical research.
Experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment is highly valued.
