Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse Quality Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Quality Coordinator to join our team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality patient-centered care by supporting the daily operations of our Quality Management/Patient Safety Program(s) and Performance Improvement programs.

About the Role:
The RN Quality Coordinator will assist with the coordination of the Performance Improvement Program to monitor processes, identify opportunities, obtain analyses, and provide constructive input to advance patient safety and minimize risks at the facility. You will also collaborate with the Quality Leadership Team and other stakeholders to channel concerns appropriately, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and other governmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the coordination of the Performance Improvement Program
- Monitor processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Obtain analyses and provide constructive input to advance patient safety
- Collaborate with the Quality Leadership Team and other stakeholders

Requirements:
- Graduate of school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
- 2+ years clinical experience in a healthcare setting, Required.
- 2+ years experience with computer programs, database programs, spreadsheets, and project management, Preferred.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Preferred.
- Other certifications preferred.
