Job Title:

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Specialist to join our team at Froedtert Health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interventional radiology, with experience in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians with the performance of interventional radiographic and related procedures for diagnostic interpretation and/or therapeutic interventions.
  • Prepare and document inventory of materials, supplies, and coding used for interventional radiology services.
  • Experience in vascular IR, including TIPS, arterial vascular intervention, vein ablation and sclerotherapy, TVLB.
  • Oncology interventions, including TheraSphere, SirSphere, TACE, cryoablation, and microwave.

Requirements:
  • Post-high school education; completion of a minimum 2-year, approved program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer required.
  • ARRT registered; Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or ARRT-VI preferred.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an equivalent required within three months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology through ARRT.
  • Experience with Siemens and Philips imaging systems.
  • EPIC / PACS experience required.
  • Strong coding and billing knowledge in Interventional Radiology.
  • Additional technical courses and experience with progressive responsibility in IR/NIR and/or Cath Lab.
