We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Froedtert Health. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians with complex radiographic procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with Interventions: Collaborate with interventional radiologists to perform minimally invasive procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
- Maintenance and Documentation: Prepare and document inventory of materials, supplies, and coding for accurate record-keeping and efficient operations.
- Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing support to ensure seamless workflows and optimize patient outcomes.
- Certification: Possess current ARRT registration and State of Wisconsin licensure as a Radiographer, with advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-CI or ARRT-CV or ARRT-VI preferred.
- Education and Training: Demonstrate proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, with 1 year of experience in IR or Cath Lab.
- Additional Requirements: Obtain American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certification within three months of hire.
