Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Azure Security Monitoring team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building large-scale microservices that collect and process terabytes of data every day to protect and keep Microsoft Azure secure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-scale services that form the backbone of Security Monitoring.
  • Execute security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce, and web-based systems.
  • Collaborate with partners, internal and external to the Microsoft Security organization, to design and build features that enable the protection and securing of Microsoft 1P products and services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cybersecurity, anomaly detection, Security Operations Center (SOC) detection, threat analytics, security incident and event management (SIEM), information technology (IT), and operations incident response.
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience programming in C++/C#/Python/Scala or similar technologies.
