We invite you to join us as a Security and Automation Specialist intern at Nintendo of America Inc. This role offers hands-on experience with a leading company in the entertainment industry. You will work on meaningful projects, gain valuable skills, and be part of a team committed to putting smiles on faces worldwide.

Description of Duties:
  • You will work closely with our IT Security team to assist with documentation and cleanup efforts related to IT Security tool stack.
  • Determine areas of opportunity for automation of repeatable tasks using Security Orchestration and Automation Response (SOAR) playbooks.
  • Explore opportunities for improvement with key IT Security stakeholders.
  • Analyze and determine urgency for remediation using vulnerability management tools.
Summary of Requirements:
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program with a graduation conferral date between May 2025 and June 2026.
  • Pursue a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Have knowledge of at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java).
  • Have basic Information Security concepts knowledge.
  • Show ability to work with various individuals across the organization.
  • Show ability to analyze and manipulate data.
  • Display natural curiosity and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to document technical concepts.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Able to work 40 hours a week onsite throughout the course of the 10-week summer internship.

This position is based in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time. Housing and travel support will be provided for non-local hires.

The estimated salary for this role is $30 per hour. Interns receive paid sick and safe time, perks such as a local transit pass, and access to the onsite fitness center. Given the limited duration of the role, interns are not eligible for full-time employee benefits like healthcare or 401(k).
