Job Summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in Peoria, IL. As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to provide accurate and timely results for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical laboratory examinations on patients of all ages, including venous and capillary blood collection.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including instruments and analyzers.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide timely and accurate laboratory results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new technologies and procedures.
Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Clinical/Medical Technology or Laboratory Science or a related life-science field is required. ASCP or AMT CLS certification is also required for candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in a related life-science field.
