Dishware Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Dishware Specialist to join our team at The Babe Cave. This role consists of an hourly wage plus tips, estimated to be around $15-$20 per hour, depending on experience and performance.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and ready for use. Key responsibilities include:

• Washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Handling trash and recycling disposal, including emptying bins and cleaning waste areas.
• Assisting with light food preparation tasks or kitchen cleanup as directed by the kitchen team.
• Monitoring dishwashing supplies and notifying management when inventory needs replenishment.
• Inspecting dishes and utensils for cleanliness and promptly rewashing any items as needed.
• Supporting the kitchen team by ensuring a steady supply of clean tools and equipment during service.

To succeed in this role, you should have prior experience as a dishwasher or in a similar capacity, with a strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met. Physical stamina is also essential, as you will need to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).

We are looking for candidates who can work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during busy service periods. A willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is also necessary.
