  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulations affecting parts sales and ensure compliance.
  • Employee Development: Establish and maintain training programs to develop and motivate department employees, promoting career growth and advancement.
  • Performance Management: Direct and schedule the activities of all parts department employees, providing technical assistance and guidance as needed.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Develop and enforce guidelines for interacting with customers to ensure maximum satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Inventory Optimization: Monitor and adjust inventory levels to minimize obsolescence and optimize stock levels.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Two years of experience as a Parts Manager at an automobile dealership or wholesale parts department.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
  • Five years of experience in an automotive parts department.
  • Excellent communication and managerial skills.
  • A valid driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record.
