About the Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Expert to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for performing systems engineering functions, including developing and managing complex system requirements, researching and developing safety-critical embedded control system designs and architectures, and defining hardware, software, and programmable logic interfaces and functionality.

We offer a competitive salary range of $122,870 - $208,890, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, and disability coverage. Our leave programs include paid time off, paid holidays, and other types of leave, such as paid parental, military, bereavement, and federal and state sick leave.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, allocate, and manage complex system requirements.
  • Research and develop safety-critical embedded control system designs and architectures.
  • Define hardware, software, and programmable logic interfaces and functionality.
  • Prepare and/or review documentation for system designs and architectures.
About You: To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering field and 4+ years of experience in avionics or electronic controls embedded development. Your technical writing skills should enable you to create required engineering documentation. Experience with intermediate and depot level maintenance support testing requirements is also desired.
