Job Summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Clinician to join our team in the area of pediatric enteral feeding devices. This role will involve providing expert care to children and their families, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement best practices in enteral feeding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with enteral feeding devices, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with inpatient case management to ensure seamless discharge planning and home care coordination for patients with enteral feeding devices.
  • Act as a patient and family advocate, ensuring that their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Develop and implement education programs for staff and patients, focusing on enteral feeding best practices and patient safety.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing and three to four years of pediatric nursing experience.
  • Current State License as a Registered Nurse and current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross.
