Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with a 1.0 FTE schedule, requiring scheduled hours between 8:00am and 6:10pm, Monday through Friday. Every other weekend and holiday are required, with variable hours based on departmental operational needs.

Compensation:

  • External hires may be eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
  • This position includes a shift/weekend differential.

As a Nutrition Lab Technician at UW Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our infant and pediatric patients. We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-service oriented individual to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare infant feedings using appropriate equipment and aseptic techniques.
  • Pick up and deliver all infant, pediatric, and enteral feedings according to schedule.
  • Work collaboratively with Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) as part of a patient care team.
  • Document patient information accurately to ensure safe feeding practices and customer service.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum – High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum – No related work experience required.
  • Preferred – Previous pharmacy technician or science lab experience, or previous nutrition experience.
