Kleen Test Products is seeking a dedicated Microbiology Laboratory Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and safety of our products through rigorous microbial testing and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct microbial assessments of water, environmental samples, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Document testing procedures and results meticulously in logbooks and data release forms.
- Perform quality assurance checks on microbiological media to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Execute partial characterization tests on microbial isolates to support product integrity.
- Maintain and manage the microbial stock culture collection to ensure availability for testing.
- Carry out environmental monitoring tests, including swabbing and air quality assessments within the facility.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization within the laboratory environment.
- Complete additional tasks as directed by management to support laboratory operations.
- An associate degree in biological sciences is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control is advantageous.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, including procedure manuals and specifications.
- Strong documentation skills for accurately recording laboratory test results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings to management.
- Basic mathematical skills for calculations related to testing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Google Suite and Outlook.
