As a School Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing counseling services, writing IEPs, monitoring student progress, and connecting families with relevant resources and support services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized counseling services to students in need
- Develop and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to support student success
- Monitor student progress and document updates to ensure timely interventions
- Perform Medicaid billing and other documentation tasks efficiently
- Participate in team meetings to collaborate on student needs and develop comprehensive support plans
- Connect families with local resources and support services to enhance student well-being
- Valid Maryland certification/licensure as a School Social Worker
- Experience working with elementary school students preferred
- Strong skills in counseling, IEP writing, and team collaboration
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, along with opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive work environment.
