Medical Cannabis Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Dispensary Pharmacist to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Medical Cannabis Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient experiences while maximizing revenue goals and ensuring compliance with inventory, security, and system protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Become proficient in our point-of-sale system
• Maintain confidential information according to HIPAA policies and procedures
• Conduct consultations via phone, in-person, and other approved methods
• Mentor and motivate dispensary staff through training on compliance, products, and customer service
• Invest in learning about our products and evolving research on medical cannabis
• Adhere to and promote a culture of positivity, professionalism, and compliance with policies and regulations
• Guide patients on cannabis recommendations, including product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration
• Effectively manage employee or customer concerns/complaints

Requirements:

• Successful completion of either a BS Pharm or PharmD from an accredited university
• Active medical/pharmacy license and registration as a medical professional
• Cannabis knowledge and experience
• Willingness to submit and pass a comprehensive background check
• Dedicated team management and personal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a demanding environment
• Strong compliance and regulation attitude
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This salary range reflects the importance of this role and the value we place on our employees' expertise.
