Equipment Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team as a Road Maintenance Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, rollers, dozers, pan, motor graders, pavers, and track-hoes, as well as performing daily maintenance inspections on equipment and vehicles.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanics and heavy equipment operation, with the ability to work safely in hazardous areas or inclement weather. They will also possess excellent customer service skills, good motor skills, and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Salary: $37,772 per annum
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, rollers, dozers, pan, motor graders, pavers, and track-hoes.
- Perform daily maintenance inspections on equipment and vehicles.
- Work safely in hazardous areas or inclement weather.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months of related experience preferred.
- A valid SC commercial driver's license with appropriate endorsements within six months.
