Qualifications:
- Valid CA RN license
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology
- Pediatric experience preferred
- BLS certification (AHA)
- PALS certification (AHA)
Shift Details: 4x10 Days with flexible start times. Call requirements include 2 shifts per week, with the possibility of up to 4 shifts based on census needs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Engage in procedural nursing with a focus on 5-10 cases daily, including add-on inpatient cases.
- Provide care for patients ranging from infants to young adults.
- Utilize medication systems such as Pyxis and Omnicell.
- Employ SBAR communication and EPIC documentation for patient care.
Job Function: This role involves independently applying the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care within diagnostic imaging and advanced imaging fields, including Interventional Radiology and Interventional Cardiac MRI. Responsibilities include caring for high-acuity patients and assisting with complex procedures in the IR suite and at the bedside, utilizing sterile techniques.
