Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate product leader to join our team as a SVP of Product. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing successful consumer apps, products, and services that have reached, engaged, and delighted millions of users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for Napster in close collaboration with the CEO and engineering leadership
  • Conceive, launch, and manage new backend and front-end features that will differentiate Napster from its competition, delivering increased subscriber growth, engagement, and revenue
  • Provide support for existing BD and account management teams in major pitches
  • Communicate product roadmap cogently and succinctly to management, internal teams, the board, and at public events
  • Hire, mentor, and scale a high-performing, detail-oriented, industry-leading product team
  • Conceive profitable, resellable B2B products and services that can be sold to existing and new Napster clients
  • Initiate and leverage all necessary data tracking tools and dashboards that are needed to make data-driven product decisions for existing and new product features
Requirements
  • Exceptional product development skills and experience running large global product teams
  • Experience running P&L for $50M+ consumer subscription, advertising, or transaction product lines
  • Strong proficiency in UI and UX design
  • Passion and expertise in media, technology, and consumer products and services
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with new and existing partners and industry counterparts
  • Solid cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to build consensus among teams (executive leadership, product, engineering, marketing, and finance)
  • Strong strategic, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, agile environment
  • Experienced in building both web and mobile consumer apps
  • Expert knowledge and experience in all related product management tools (Jira, Figma, etc.)
  • Proven track record of launching new products and scaling them rapidly to millions of users globally
  • Experience in managing both on and offshore engineering teams
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to track and measure KPIs to continuously improve the Napster service
  • Experience with financial modeling to be able to evaluate product feasibility and forecast growth
  • Strong passion and understanding of consumer trends in music, social, tech, web3, and pop culture
  • Detail-oriented, ability to capture complex product ideas and distill them into manageable product specifications (PRDs)
  • Experience managing to high-profile product launch deadlines
Professional Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree minimum, preferably Master's degree
  • Preferred computer science proficiency
  • 12+ years of product development experience across various platforms and can demonstrate the success and impact of your efforts
