The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Summer Intern to join our construction team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the construction management of multi-family apartment communities.

You will work closely with our experienced construction team to assist with various aspects of construction management, including site and concrete work, framing, rough mechanicals, finishes, budgeting, and scheduling.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn from industry experts and gain a comprehensive understanding of the construction management process.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with construction management tasks, including site visits, inspections, and documentation
  • Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, Contractors, Subcontractors, Lead Engineers, and Architects to ensure smooth project execution
  • Learn about our Incident and Injury-Free Workplace safety culture and best practices
  • Gain exposure to various stages of the construction management process, including site and concrete work, framing, rough mechanicals, finishes, budgeting, and scheduling
Requirements
  • Enrolled in an undergraduate Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related program
  • Prior construction-related internships or work experience is beneficial, but not required
  • Strong leadership and management abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including the ability to work in spreadsheets, word processors, etc.
